Rev. Samuel Nana Opoku
Rev. Samuel Nana Opoku is the senior Pastor of Abundant life Baptist Church, New York. Before holding this office he served as the associate Pastor at Grace Baptist Church Kumasi, Ghana. A position he held till he become the Senior Pastor of Abundant life Baptist Church in the Bronx, New York. He is loved and admired his for strong leadership and his passion for God.
Back in Ghana , Rev. Nana Opoku held significant leadership positions in with the Ghana Baptist Convention. He served as the Chairman of Kumasi South Baptist Association for two terms and later as Mid-Ghana Sector Head of the Ghana Baptist Convention; overseeing more than two hundred churches a position he held until he came to the United States of America.
Rev. Nana Opoku has a passion for missions, evangelism, mentoring, and coaching that spans over 40 years. He have guided and mentored countless individuals in their spiritual journey. Rev. Samuel Nana Opoku studied at Centre for International Christian Ministry and also The London Reformed Baptist Seminary (LRBS) all in the United Kingdom. He is a founding member of NABA of which he served as the President of the North America Baptist Association of the Ghana Baptist Convention for three terms.
He served as second Vice President of African American Minister Fellowship in New York, and has also served as the Vice President of Ghanaian Ministers Fellowship of New York . He is currently the Chairman of the Ministers Fellowship of North America Baptist Association of the Ghana Baptist Convention, NABAM. He is married to Mrs. Evelyn Opoku the first lady of the church and they have two daughters, Esther Opoku, and Abena Gyimaah Opoku.
