Rev. Samuel Nana Opoku celebrates 10 years of pastoral service in New York

The Christian Journal – The Abundant Life Baptist Church congregation has been blessed with the ministry of the Rev. Samuel Nana Opoku for the past ten years. It was also a day which marked his 10th year as the Church leader in New York.

“It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (Eph. 4:11-12)”.

The anniversary celebration was an opportunity for the church to pay tribute to Rev. Nana Opoku and his dear wife, show appreciation for the many things he had done and also applaud his great leadership qualities. It was also a day to affirm their undying support for his ministry.

During the celebration, the congregants were challenged to continue to pray for their pastor and render all the necessary support needed for the growth of God’s Kingdom.

Rev. Opoku expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to God for sustaining and bringing them that far. It had been ten years of the abundant blessings and grace of God!

It was gratifying to note that, under his leadership, the church has been able to acquire a church building which was currently under construction.

Rev. Nana Opoku, during the celebration took the opportunity to thank the entire leadership of the church, other departments and ministry leaders for their immeasurable support and for making what they had achieved so far possible.
